Hydrogen Water Purity: Why It Matters

Hydrogen Machines uses SPE/PEM membrane electrolysis to produce independently lab-verified 99.991% pure hydrogen. This is a clean, physically separated gas stream with no additives and nothing left behind to degrade.

Some hydrogen water products generate hydrogen through dissolving tablets. As the reactive material breaks down, tablet manufacturers acknowledge this can leave trace contaminants — including heavy metals — in the water.

Purity also depends on what goes in. The HERO Purity 200-110 filters the source water first — PP sediment, CTO carbon block, then an RO membrane — before its PEM cell produces up to 2,500 ppb hydrogen-rich water, so the input is treated rather than assumed.
