The technology — PEM / SPE electrolysis
PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane), also called SPE (Solid Polymer Electrolyte), is the technology behind every serious hydrogen inhalation machine in the category. A proton-conducting polymer membrane separates the anode and cathode. When voltage is applied across the cell, water splits — hydrogen forms at the cathode, oxygen at the anode — and the membrane keeps the two gas streams physically separated.
