Hydrogen Bathing at Home
Hydrogen bathing at home turns the bathtub you already own into a full-body hydrogen session. The generator sits beside the tub, a diffuser line runs into the water, and the water volume is saturated before you get in — no plumbing, no fittings and no bathroom modification.
Hydrogen bathing — also referred to as hydrogen immersion — is the practice of dissolving molecular hydrogen into bath water so the whole body is in contact with hydrogen-rich water for the length of a soak.
Integration clarity
Household bathtubs
The standard home case. HERO Bath saturates a normal tub volume before the session begins.
- Works with acrylic, steel, stone and freestanding tubs
- Full-tub saturation in 3–5 minutes, then bathe as normal
- Portable 14 kg benchtop unit — moves between bathrooms
- Standard outlet on an RCD-protected circuit
Hot tub integration
An outdoor hot tub simply holds more water, so the saturation window is longer. Nothing is cut into the shell or the pump circuit.
- Extend the saturation cycle to match the larger water volume
- Generator stays on a dry, level, weather-protected surface
- Refresh saturation at the start of each sitting
- No change to heater, filtration or sanitation routine
Jacuzzi and jetted tub integration
Jetted tubs work well provided the jets are sequenced correctly — aeration off-gasses dissolved hydrogen faster than still water.
- Run the saturation cycle with jets off for a stable dissolved level
- Bathe first, then use jets briefly at the end if you want them
- No interference with existing jet, heater or pump hardware
- Diffuser line lifts out between sessions for drying
Questions people ask
Do I need to modify my bathroom for hydrogen bathing?
No. The generator is a benchtop unit that sits beside the tub and only the diffuser hose enters the water. There is no plumbing tie-in, no drilling and no waterproofing change.
Can I use hydrogen bathing in a hot tub or jacuzzi?
Yes. A hot tub holds a larger water volume, so the saturation cycle simply runs longer before the session. In a jacuzzi, saturate with the jets off and use jets only briefly at the end, because aggressive aeration off-gasses dissolved hydrogen.
What water does the machine need?
Distilled or RO-pure feedwater (TDS under 30) keeps the PEM cell clean and output consistent. Tap water minerals shorten membrane life.
