The machine travels as a single crated pallet, delivered kerbside with a call ahead. Older Swiss apartment buildings frequently have narrow stairwells and small lifts — measure your access route before delivery day rather than after.

Switzerland is not part of the EU customs union, so a Swiss import clearance applies rather than a free intra-EU movement. That is where most imported-appliance orders go wrong: the freight looks cheap and then Swiss VAT, duty and an advancement fee arrive separately.

We prepay Swiss import duty and VAT before dispatch, so the courier delivers without presenting a bill and there is no clearance fee to settle.

Orders settle in USD $9,500 delivered. There is no CHF settlement account, so your card issuer converts on the day at their rate — check your card's foreign transaction fee before ordering.

Switzerland runs 230V at 50Hz, but on its own Type J (SEV 1011) socket rather than the Schuko pattern used in Germany or the Type E socket used in France. Units routed to Switzerland are supplied for Type J, so no travel adapter is involved.

Give the machine a dedicated circuit rather than sharing with a heater or hair dryer, and keep the bathroom RCD/FI protection in place — Swiss installation rules require it for wet areas and it is exactly what a bath-adjacent appliance should sit behind.

The hardware is CE marked and manufactured under ISO 9001 with RoHS compliance. Those marks describe electrical safety, EMC and manufacturing standards — not medical or therapeutic approval. HERO Bath is a general wellness device.

Much of the Swiss plateau — Zurich, Bern, Basel and the Aargau — runs hard limestone-fed water. An inline pre-filter on the fill line keeps scale off the internals and holds output steady over years of daily use.

Alpine and pre-alpine supply in Valais, Ticino and parts of Graubünden is generally softer and needs no additional filtration.

If your household already runs a central softener, no further filtration is needed on the fill line.

A 24-month manufacturer warranty applies from delivery, with a 90-day return window from arrival. Claims go directly to the Hydrogen Machines team — there is no Swiss distributor layer.

Diagnostics run remotely first over email and WhatsApp; where a part is needed, replacements ship into Switzerland with duties prepaid so nothing is collected on the second delivery either.
