Delivery windows across France

Orders are dispatched from Sydney and then run 10 business days door-to-door on the European lane.

Paris and Île-de-France, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nantes, Lille, Strasbourg, rural communes, Alpine and Pyrenean addresses and Corsica are all quoted the same 10 business day window.

The machine arrives as a single crated pallet, delivered kerbside with a call ahead to arrange the window. Haussmannian buildings and older immeubles often have a small lift and a tight stairwell — check your access route and, where needed, book the service entrance before delivery day.

TVA, EU duty and the landed price

France is a DDP (delivered duty paid) destination for us. EU import duty and French TVA are prepaid before dispatch, so the shipment clears without a customs invoice, an advancement fee or a frais de dossier from the carrier.

This is the usual failure point on imported appliances: the headline price looks fine until TVA at 20% and a clearance fee arrive weeks later. That does not happen here.

Pricing is USD $9,500 delivered, displayed on this page in euros at the live rate so the on-screen figure is the landed cost. Card settlement is in USD, with your issuer converting on the day.

French electrical standard (230V, Type E)

France runs 230V at 50Hz on the Type E socket, which uses an earthing pin in the outlet rather than the side clips of German Schuko. Units routed to France are supplied for Type E, so there is no adapter or transformer involved.

NF C 15-100 requires bathroom circuits to sit behind a 30 mA RCD and observes strict volume zones around the bath. Keep the machine outside the immediate splash volume, on its own grounded circuit rather than sharing with a heater or hair dryer.

The hardware is CE marked and manufactured under ISO 9001 with RoHS compliance. Those marks describe electrical safety, EMC and manufacturing standards — not medical or therapeutic approval. HERO Bath is a general wellness device, not a medical device.

Water hardness — eau calcaire

Île-de-France, the Nord, Alsace and much of the Paris basin sit on hard limestone-fed supply — eau très calcaire by any measure. An inline pre-filter on the fill line keeps scale off the internals and holds output steady over years of daily bathing.

Brittany, parts of the Massif Central and much of the Alpine supply run soft, where no additional filtration is needed.

Households already running an adoucisseur do not need anything further on the fill line.

Warranty, support and consumer rights

A 24-month manufacturer warranty runs from delivery, with a 90-day return window from arrival. Claims go directly to the Hydrogen Machines team — there is no French distributor to route through.

Your statutory rights under French consumer law, including the garantie légale de conformité, are not affected by our returns policy.

Diagnostics are handled remotely first over email and WhatsApp, in English; where a part is required, replacements ship into France with duties prepaid. Messages are answered within one business day.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

French addresses run 10 business days door-to-door on an express courier service. Paris and Île-de-France, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lille, Nantes, rural communes, the Alps and Pyrenees and Corsica are all quoted the same window.

Yes. French units ship in the 230V / 50Hz configuration for the Type E socket used in France — the earthing-pin pattern, not the German Schuko clips. French bathroom circuits must sit behind a 30 mA RCD under NF C 15-100, which is exactly what a bath-adjacent appliance should be on.

No. France is a DDP destination for us: EU import duty and French TVA are prepaid before dispatch, so the shipment clears customs without you being invoiced and the courier does not present a bill or an advancement fee on delivery.

Pricing is set at USD $9,500 delivered and displayed on this page in euros at the live rate, so you can see the landed EUR figure. Card settlement is in USD, with your issuer converting on the day.

CE marking covers EU electrical safety and EMC conformity for the hardware, alongside ISO 9001 manufacturing and RoHS compliance. It describes how the machine is built and tested — not medical or therapeutic status. HERO Bath is a general wellness device (appareil de bien-être), not a medical device.

A 24-month manufacturer warranty from delivery and a 90-day return window from arrival, handled directly by the Hydrogen Machines team rather than through a French distributor. Your statutory rights under French consumer law, including the garantie légale de conformité, are unaffected.
