How hydrogen bathing works
Hydrogen Bathing is created using SPE/PEM hydrogen-generation technology, which dissolves high-purity molecular hydrogen into the water continuously. This produces a dense, persistent effervescence and a saturated hydrogen bath — the signature look and feel of a true hydrogen soak.
A dedicated bath machine such as the HERO Bath is engineered for full-tub volumes. It runs a continuous-duty dissolution cycle, diffusing nano-scale hydrogen bubbles through the bathing water so the concentration can build across the whole tub rather than disappearing at the surface.

How hydrogen tablets work
Hydrogen tablets work differently. They create a single burst of hydrogen as they dissolve, and most of that gas escapes immediately. In a full bath (150–200 litres), the hydrogen is highly diluted and does not remain in the water, so the bath does not reach saturation.
Tablets are formulated for small volumes — typically a glass or bottle of drinking water. That is where their chemistry makes sense: a single tablet can generate a useful concentration in 250–500 mL because the gas has nowhere to go except into the small amount of water in front of it. Why the difference matters
Hydrogen Bathing is a category — a full-tub hydrogen experience created by dedicated technology. Hydrogen tablets are a product — designed for small-volume hydrogen water.
Both have their place, but they are not interchangeable. If you want a saturated bath, you need continuous dissolution scaled to the tub volume. If you want portable hydrogen water, a tablet is the more practical choice. The confusion only arises when marketing implies one can substitute for the other.
