What is a hydrogen bath machine?

Molecular hydrogen is the smallest molecule in the universe — two hydrogen atoms bonded together, written H₂. A hydrogen bath machine produces this gas on demand from pure water using electrolysis, and delivers it into a bathtub through a flexible hose that ends in a sub-surface dissolution head.

The result is a full tub of water with dissolved molecular hydrogen at concentrations that a person bathing in it is exposed to across their skin and the surrounding air column. The machine continues running through the session to replenish gas that naturally escapes the surface.

It is not a hydrogen inhaler. An inhaler delivers a small flow of pure H₂ gas through a nasal cannula at ~600–3,000 ml/min. A bath machine is sized to push enough gas into a 150–200 litre tub to reach and hold a dissolved concentration.

It is not a hydrogen water bottle. A bottle dissolves H₂ into a single glass of drinking water at ~250 mL. A bath machine handles a volume of water roughly 600–800× larger.

It is not an industrial Brown's-gas generator. Those produce a mixed H₂+O₂ stream using an alkaline electrolyte and were never designed for residential daily bathing.

The chassis sits on a stable surface beside the tub. The hose drops into the bath; the power lead plugs into a standard wall outlet. There is no dedicated circuit, no plumbing modification, no drilling.

Set-up for a first session takes roughly 5–10 minutes once the unit is unboxed. Subsequent sessions are: fill source reservoir with distilled water, drop the head into the bath, press start.
