Choosing a hydrogen bath machine

Ask for sustained dissolved concentration across a 20-minute session in a standard 150–200 L tub, not peak ppb measured at the head. Reputable suppliers publish both numbers; some publish only the headline peak.

Cross-check hydrogenated water flow rate (ml/min). Higher flow saturates faster and compensates for surface losses across a long soak.

Sealed enclosure with a clearly stated IP rating for placement near a humid bath. Stainless or appropriate polymer wetted parts on the water side. A power supply built for continuous duty, not intermittent burst use. A dissolution head that is removable for cleaning.

CE (electrical safety), FCC (electromagnetic compatibility for the country of sale), RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances). ISO 9001 for quality-management traceability; ISO 13485 for stricter manufacturing process control. These do not register the device as a therapy — they describe hardware and process.

Reservoir, dissolution head and source-side filter should be easy to access without tools. Spare parts (head, filter, hose) should be available from the supplier years after purchase. Membrane life is determined by source-water discipline, not by service intervals.

Look for direct support from the supplier rather than an outsourced regional hub. A 12-month manufacturer warranty is standard. Confirm the warranty path — return-to-base, in-region service, or full unit replacement — before purchase.
