Definition
The literature is largely mechanistic: how a very small, neutral, highly diffusible molecule moves through tissue and what it appears to interact with once there.
Reading it well means noting study size, duration, population and whether the work is in cells, animals or people.
Modality relevance
Study delivery methods vary — inhaled gas, hydrogen-rich water, saline — so results from one modality do not transfer automatically to another.
Purity relevance
Purity verification and scientific evidence are separate questions. Verified purity says the hardware performs to specification; it says nothing about biological effect.
