Definition
A consumer generator makes hydrogen only while it is running, at low pressure and low volume. Nothing accumulates between sessions.
Because the cell does not know what happens downstream, the same production step feeds a cannula, a bath diffuser or a water vessel.
Modality relevance
Delivery is what distinguishes the modalities — production is the shared upstream step.
Purity relevance
Production quality and purity are linked: cell design, water quality and gas-path materials all determine what finally leaves the outlet.
Science relevance
Production figures are engineering data. They should not be presented as, or alongside, health outcomes.
