Definition
A hydrogen bath generator feeds hydrogen through a diffuser into a filled bath, dissolving the gas into the water. Contact is across the whole skin surface for the length of the session rather than through a single delivery point.
Setup is non-permanent: the generator sits beside the bath and the diffuser goes into the water, so no plumbing change is required.
Modality relevance
Bathing sits alongside inhalation as the second primary consumer format. It suits people who already bathe regularly and prefer passive, whole-body sessions over seated cannula time.
Purity relevance
The same PEM/SPE electrolysis logic applies: the cell runs on pure water and separates hydrogen at a solid polymer membrane. Purity and certification marks (CE, FCC, RoHS) describe hardware and materials compliance, not therapeutic status.
Science relevance
Research interest centres on hydrogen's behaviour as a small, highly diffusible molecule in aqueous environments. Findings are exploratory and no health outcome is claimed for bathing.
